Here are the possibilities how to get EU residence permit in Latvia and to immigrate to Europe:

Immigration to Europe (Latvia) is possible as the investor in interest-free government bonds determined for special purpose with the nominal value of 250 000€. If the person applies for the temporary residence permit in Latvia for the first time applicant must pay 38 000 € into the state budget. Residency permit in EU may be issued to 1 person and its spouse and minor children. After 5 years, the government buys back the bonds in full amount.

Visa to Europe (Latvia) may also be issued in case the person has subordinate liabilities towards a credit institution in Latvia in the amount of at least 280 000 € and the term of the transaction entered into with that credit institution is at least five years. If the person applies for the temporary residence permit in Latvia for the first time applicant must pay 25 000 € into the state budget. Temporary residence permit may be issued to 1 person and its spouse and minor children.

Other option to acquire visa to Europe (Latvia) is if the person is the Board member of the Latvian LLC. The company shall be registered per 1 year, in taxes min. 21 350 € per year had to be paid (sum total of this tax payment excluding amount of the tax payments reimbursed or to be reimbursed from the State budget). The Board member must have the salary 1636€ per month and place of residence in Latvia.

In this case, the visa to Europe (Latvia) will be issued for a period of 5 years. No local stay required but the person once a year need to register with the Immigration department.

Visa to Europe (Latvia) will be granted to the investor and also family (spouse and children below 18).
