ECTA (European Communities Trade Mark Association) founded in 1934.
ECTA assist trademark professionals with trademark registrations in European Union (EU) with framework and knowledge development.
We are members of ECTA for more than 20 years, joining on 10th of July 1996. ECTA brings together persons practicing professionally in the Member States of the European Union in the field of trademarks, designs and related IP matters.
Mission of ECTA (European Communities Trade Mark Association) (http://www.ecta.org ) is to increase the knowledge of members and in the fields of designs and trademarks in European Union (EU). Trade Mark registration in European Union is administrated by EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office).
EUIPO is located in vibrant city of Alicante, Spain. EUIPO founded in 1994. European Communities Trade Mark Association have close relationships with other national, regional and supranational intellectual property bodies.
Our law offices in Estonia and Lithuania became members of ECTA as well thus expanding our professional activity in designs and related IP matters and fields of trademarks in European Union (EU).
